In the task this week, I chose to complete practical exercise 1, which was producing one of the poses with a man figure, and one of the poses with a female figure.
I used the charcoal first to outline the shape, making sure that all parts were in right proportion. Then I drew the greyscale, in the stage I focused more on creatingthe lighting affecting on the figure and ignored some details. Afterward, I started to use warm toned pastel to blend the skin color, I also found that some parts of charcoal drawing started to fade while blending the color, thus I enhanced the shadow parts after completeing the pastel drawing.

As for the female figure, since the reference I chose weren't muscular and the lighting didn't have intense contrast, thus I focused more on using pastel to create the smooth and soft skin texture.
