Practical Task -Still life with organic shapes and man-made objects

This week we needed to put together organic shapes and man-made objects, and below was the reference I found on Pinterest.

Here were some stages of development. During the process I thought that the petals of the white roses were the most challenging part, because the composition was complex and I also needed to be aware of the lighting. Furthermore since the flowers were white, I had to be careful while dealing with the tone of the shadows.
In step three I also added a lemon in front of the pot, trying to make the whole composition look better. which was also the feedback I got during the first face-to-face feedback session.

First Outcome

And below was the second outcome after getting the formative feedback. Since the flowers looked flat, I added darken tone in some areas to make them have more contrast, and I also darken down the pot to make it have some difference between other man-made objects, trying to make the whole looked more attractive and interesting.
