Practical Task - Drapery

In order to start the practical task, I used my scarf, clothing and towel which I could find in my accommodation and took some photos as the reference.

Below was the progress, as usual, I used lines to mark the positions and the basic shape first, then started to illustrate the folds, such as the diaper folds, inert folds...
During the process I found that step 2 really took me a lot of time because the proportions of the folds were easy to get wrong.

And in step 3, I began to deal with the shade, it was essential to check the reference multiple times to make sure I didn't make some parts too bright or too dark.

Finally, after adding some textures of the scarf, here was my outcome. Also I added the back of the black chair so that make the scarf could be separated from the background.

In general, I'm quite satisfied with the folds, but I think that I can enhance the contrast more to show the direction of the light. Besides, according to the feedback I got in face-to face session, adding more details like small wrinkles on the front clothing.
